Here's Levi
Norliah Syer-Peterson and Levi's Story.Β
My beautiful Levi. My reason. My fight. π
There are no words to describe the pain of losing your child. One moment, you are planning their future, and the next, you are trying to understand how a world without them is possible.
My beautiful son, Levi, was just 16 when meningococcal B took his life.
He had his whole life ahead of him. Dreams to chase, places to see, and so much love still to give.
Losing Levi changed me forever. It broke my heart in ways I never knew were possible. But it also gave me a purpose.
I cannot bring my beautiful boy back. I cannot change what happened to our family. But I can use my voice to fight for other children and families.
No parent should have to face the devastation of losing a child to a disease when there are vaccines that can help protect against it.
That is why I will continue to advocate for meningococcal B vaccination to be accessible and affordable for families in Victoria. I want parents to have the information they need to make informed decisions, and I want no family to have to endure the pain we have endured.
Leviβs life mattered. His story matters. And I will carry his love with me in everything I do.
For you, my beautiful boy. I will never stop loving you, and I will never stop fighting for change. πποΈ

This ring is deeply personal to me as Levi and I shared so many magical moments at the beach. Every wave is now a sign to me that reminds me of the never ending love we share to infinity and beyond.
